BLUFF COUNTRY WOMAN represents so many individuals who have found peaceful resolve in Bluff Country. Our editors are real people who have experienced life in Bluff Country–who know how to have fun in an uncomplicated way, and who have learned that conservative values are key to enjoying an abundant life. They are adventurous, intelligent, skilled, courageous, creative and immensely talented. They’re not afraid to get their hands dirty, wield a Skil saw, cross a river on horseback, kayak the Root, and then to go home and bake a pie or sew up a quilt for the family. They might be Norwegian, Swedish, German, Polish, Irish, or any number of nationalities from which their gentleness (or stubbornness) is derived. They are fiercely independent, but passionate about family, education, and taking responsibility. These are Bluff Country Women–and I’m glad to be one of them!

WaterCrest Farm
WaterCrest Farm was established in ’2009′ by Tricia and Eddie Wateski. It is set in a quiet little Valley just outside of Houston, MN. They want to create a quiet little place where horse lovers like themselves can go and ride til’ your hearts content. Within the past few years they have come to know and love the natural horsemanship methods used by Clinton Anderson. They currently use the methods on thier own horses, and train horses with the method. If you have any questions please feel free to give us a call at 1-507-896-3737!
